When one service refuses the bonded connection

Bonding gives you one reliable connection out of several unreliable ones. A few services don’t like what they see at the other end: the bank that locks you out because the exit looks like a VPN, the card terminal that won’t authorise, the streaming or supplier portal that only trusts the site’s own fixed IP. Until now the fix was to take that device off the bond and lose the resilience for everything else it does.

Tangent, our plugin for Teltonika RUTX, RUTC, RUTM and RUT2M routers running Bondix, fixes that with a rule: name the destinations, pick the WAN they should leave on, and only that traffic takes the off-ramp. Everything else stays bonded. It installs from the router’s Package Manager in under a minute and every new install comes with a 7-day trial.
